Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 3 Neo in January 2014.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Neo tablet also called as Tab 3 Lite in some countries has reached India, and its available on the company’s online store for Rupees 16,750/-
Earlier, Samsung officially announced the 3G variant of Galaxy Tab 3 Neo at rupees 16.490/-. However, there is no word yet on availability of the Wi-Fi variant of the tablet.
The strategy to make the tablet more affordable has affected on the specifications, but still it’s a powerful tablet and a strong contender in the mid-range tablet market.
It has 7inch screen (1024 x 600pixels) with a pixel density of 170PPI. The Tab 3 runs on a Dual-core Cortex A9 chip clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM. Yes, these specifications are average if compared to its main competition Nexus 7 tablet, which costs is little higher, but offers better features that are worth its price.
